Recently, I had the pleasure to deliver a new logo to Care Rescue Cork, an Irish animal charity organisation that took care of Zumo before he came to us via Hundar Utan Hem. This is the old logo:

I got free hands, which is my favorite way of doing things. I loved the idea of the house, the dog and the cat, but there was a little too much of everything going on. My idea was to refine and limit the number of colors. I was thinking of using pink and blue in the new logo, but since Care is working internationally, I also wanted to highlight the Irish base.

First draft of the new logo:

So the huge Irish heart by the house that is for cats and dogs. Clear font and no fluff. I was happy with it, but the creative minds at Care asked me to paint the whole house orange, which actually turned out even better. So here is the final version of the new logo for Care Rescue Cork:

What do you think?

I am happy with it and extremely proud that it’s now being used on all social media. Check out Care Rescue and their fantastic work on Facebook HERE and Instagram HERE. P.S. A new and cool website for Care coming soon. Stay tuned.
